Rust 기반의 경량 FinOps Observability 도구 RustCost를 개발하고 있습니다.
RustCost는 Kubernetes Metrics API와 cAdvisor에서 메트릭을 수집하고, 외부 DB 없이 파일 기반 TSDB에 저장해
가볍고 단순하면서도 직관적인 비용 관측 경험을 제공하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

Community Feedback Request — What Business/FinOps Features Do You Need?
Hello everyone!
I’m currently developing RustCost, a lightweight FinOps Observability tool built with Rust.
RustCost collects Kubernetes metrics from the Metrics API and cAdvisor, and stores them in a file-based TSDB, enabling a simple, fast, and low-overhead cost observability experience — without relying on any external database.
We are currently working on features like:

Team-level resource & cost visibility

Cost efficiency scoring and trend analysis

Cluster/service cost distribution summaries
GPU cost analysis or Docker/containerd exporters are not supported yet,
but if the community finds them valuable, we’re open to developing them in the future.
The project is still stabilizing, but before adding more features,
I want to understand what business and FinOps practitioners actually need.
