다양한 클라우드 기술에 관심이 많은 백엔드 개발자입니다. 특정 벤더에 국한되지 않고 여러 클라우드 기술을 폭넓게 배워나가는 것이 목표입니다. 배운 것들을 나누는 걸 좋아해서 클라우드 관련 콘텐츠도 만들고 있습니다!
CloudBro에 왜 합류하게 되셨나요?
클라우드 기술은 특성상 특정 벤더에 의존적일 수밖에 없지만, 벤더의 경계를 넘어 다양한 클라우드 기술을 한곳에서 자유롭게 이야기할 수 있는 커뮤니티도 있으면 좋지 않을까 하는 생각을 항상 해왔습니다. 다양한 배경을 가진 분들과 클라우드와 AI 이야기를 나누며 서로의 경험을 공유할 수 있는 자리를 찾고 있었는데, CloudBro가 딱 그런 커뮤니티라고 느꼈습니다.
운영진으로서 앞으로 해보고 싶은 게 있다면?
클라우드와 AI 기술은 범위가 방대해서, 어디서부터 시작해야 할지 막막할 때가 많습니다. 전문가든 입문자든 누구나 편하게 질문하고 이야기할 수 있는 분위기를 만들고 싶습니다. 클라우드 정보를 공유하는 콘텐츠를 만들어서 홍보하는 업무와, hands-on을 좋아해서 다양한 기술을 실습해보면서 배우는 워크숍도 재밌을 것 같습니다!
보고 있는 Bro들에게 한 마디!
지금 시대는 AI에게 답을 구할 수는 있지만, 사람의 마음을 움직이게 만드는 건 결국 사람뿐인 것 같습니다. 서로 동기부여하며 함께 성장하는 커뮤니티를 만들어 갔으면 좋겠습니다. 반갑습니다!

Introducing Hwanseok Joo, the first organiser to fuel CloudBro’s growth!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m a backend engineer with a wide curiosity for cloud technologies. My goal is to learn broadly across cloud platforms without being locked into any single vendor. I love sharing what I learn, so I’ve been creating cloud content along the way!
Why did you join CloudBro?
Cloud tech is inherently vendor-dependent, but I always thought it would be great to have a community where people could freely talk about different cloud technologies in one place, beyond vendor boundaries. I was looking for a space to share experiences and talk cloud and AI with people from diverse backgrounds, and CloudBro felt like exactly that.
Anything you want to do as an organizer?
Cloud and AI are so vast that it’s often hard to know where to start. I want to create an environment where anyone, whether expert or beginner, can ask questions and talk freely. I’ll be working on content to share cloud knowledge and, since I love hands-on learning, I think workshops where we explore different technologies together would be a lot of fun!

In this era, AI can give you answers, but only people can truly move people. I hope we can build a community where we motivate each other and grow together. Great to meet you all!
